The athletes

Saturday I had the honor of welcoming two extraordinary athletes in PB: Trix and Bill from Edwards (Air Force Base), CA! Trix is Swiss and the sister of... and daughter and... almost family. Bill, her american husband, is working as a pilot, therefore the "exotic" home. They were in San Diego for a triathlon and we met for a coffee on the beach. In one afternoon we could solve some misteries about Switzerland and typical Swiss behaviour. Moreover, Trix got an idea what it is like to live in a city with a population of 1.8 mio, cloudy mornings and fresh sea breeze.
After a great afternoon I headed straight to Amys place in hillcrest for a BBQ. On the way the police department decided to take a picture of our Subaru crossing a traffic light when it was dark orange... Could get quite expensive. The BBQ was really great. A bunch of very cool and "normal" (to me) people and some dogs.
