Mimosas, soccer, surf and sailing

Let's blog! Finally we did something blogworthy... But what? Ah, yes, Sunday. Big bon voyage brunch for our friend Bon. The fortunate bastard got asked by his employer to manage a Banana Republic store in Honolulu... So, Bon is leaving. You have to know that he prepares the most impressive breakfasts I have ever seen. Homemade everything, fritata, quiche, eggs, bacon, you name it! Reason enough for me to get up early on a Sunday! We digested during the Brazil - Ivory Coast game at home. I then went for a quick surf, where the big breakfast and the mimosas (orange juice with Champagne) didn't positively influence my performance. From the ocean to the lab and from the lab back to the ocean. No, not another surf session but sailing with our friends Juan and Tatiana. Juan is a member of the sailing club and can borrow boats. Not much wind but wine and good company made this a great Sunday evening. We ended the trip in the harbor where we could watch the Imogen Heap concert that took place nearby.
