La Jolla Immunology Conference

Dear blog readers. It's over. Yes, after more than three months we finally enjoyed a weekend without any stress, travel plans or other obligations. I gave a successful talk at the conference last Thursday, even won a price for best talk. And that was the last thing that was on the agenda. Now we are back to normal. Normal work hours (that is of course a sliding scale...), normal weekends, time for each other and friends. We enjoyed that normality with a happy hour/diner on Friday at our place and a Japanese Teppan grill. Saturday we went to the Maroon 5 concert. Was really good to hear some rock guitars! Supporting acts were Bruno Mars (felt like school band) and One Republic (ok). I have never been to a concert with so many screaming girls... Sunday was easy going day with grey weather, even a little drizzle.
