After the "shower incidence" from the last post we are definitely on the "weird Europeans" list of all our American friends... The main occupation on the weekend was Christmas shopping and cooking. Saturday night we had French Christmas with Lucile and Nico and their friends. Everyone was responsible for one course of the meal. You can imagine that we ended up eating and drinking a lot! Was very nice although we didn't know the 80ies pop cruelties from France...
Wednesday was McHeyzer-Williams lab holiday party. In the US Christmas is referred to as the "holiday season" to make it neutral and not religious... We don't want to offend anyone! The lab party was big fun as always including gifts, Japanese fusion cuisine and drinking and desert in relaxed atmosphere at M-Ws place.
