Back to normal

Now that Steffi has left our life is back to normal. We really enjoyed her visit and had a lot of fun. Remembering the good old times and laughing about ourselves when we were young and foolish. We tried to show her some things we like in San Diego, including the zoo, Point Loma (where you have a beautiful view of downtown), the Torrey Pines State Reserve, Julian and the view over the desert, Cuyamaca State park AND we ate probably the best meat since we arrived! If you are ever in the San Diego area :-) you have to go to Albie's Beef Inn!!! Oh, we loved that place. In the online description it says that it is a meeting place for mature couples. And the fact that it has a piano bar with a "mature" keyboarder tells a lot... Saturday night we went to another BBQ with the French+ community. The + means that there were not only French (and we were not the only ones). Steffi left Sunday and we went back into the water. I have borrowed Michi's longboard. Have to get used to it. That thing is huge!
Monday and today were really bad days at work. I was fighting with the FACS and couldn't get my experiments done. Bummer! But tomorrow is a new day and it can inly get better.
