It's grey, it's quiet, it's wonderful! We currently have a 30-40% chance of rain...! It also cooled down after some days with more than 30°C. The weather is just perfect for our mood: Stay at home, relax, go for a coffee on the pier and most important no plans, no nothing. After busy weeks we want to lay back and digest and enjoy everything that happened and everyone we saw. And don't get this wrong! Grey, bad weather here means still shorts and shirt with door and windows open. The neighborhood got quiet too. The busy summer month are over and school started again. As if this wouldn't be enough, wave heights started to pick up. It's definitely fall.
My parents are now on a roadtrip to the national parks around Las Vegas. They enjoy it, as we know from a lady working at the camp ground who had to leave a message on my voice mail. The Swiss didn't understand the system... Sounds like they made friends. Americans are very helpful in that respect. You can find some pictures of the weekend we spent together in Julian/Cuyamaca, downtown and the zoo.
