They're gone

Friday morning 6am... I had to get up and bring my parents to the airport. Nothing special until the lady at the check in wanted to see my dad's visa for Switzerland or residence permit. Guess where it was - at home in Switzerland of course! Finally she agreed on checking him in based on the marriage with my mom and his Swiss driver's license from 1977. Ufff! And she clearly said that she does not take any responsibility if he is not allowed to enter Switzerland. This was of course no problem, as Japanese citizens do not need a visa to enter Switzerland. So, we do not understand why an American Airline does require such a document. Anyway theiy are at home and try to keep some warmth from the Californian sun.
