Whale watching

Another week did fly by... Work, work, work and then it's already Friday happy hour. This weekend we managed to not work and do something special: Whale watching! The grey whales migrate from Alaska down to Baja California where they give birth around this time of the year. So we took a 4-hour trip from San Diego to see the whales passing by. And we were lucky and did see two. We also saw sea lions and three different species of dolphins: bottlenose dolphins (that's the ones we know from surfing), Pacific whitesided dolphins and Risso's dolphins (which are very rare to spot around here). No pictures of the whales and dolphins; too hard and I didn't want to see all the action through the lens only. It was a beautiful afternoon on the sea. Yes, this weekend was spring weather, which means >20°C, short pants and flip flops.
Today we met our baby friend Arthur again and also Nico's parents. On parle Français nous!
