Sunday we went surfing at the Wavehouse. Some of you may have seen the Swatch Wave. It's an artificial wave generated by shooting water over a surface that is shaped like a wave. The Wavehouse here in San Diego has two such waves installed permanently. Sunday we went there to ride the baby one with the Scripps postdoc association. It was tons of fun! Before and after riding we had a huge brunch buffet with everything from eggs to crab legs to brownies. We ended the weekend with a real surf session at sunset. Beautiful!
