What did we do over the last 2 weeks? Nothing special. Work, work , work. We actually said that we should write much more about what we do all day long. People clearly get the wrong impression from reading these posts. No, we do not only party! Yes, we do sometimes, maybe even quite often. But most time we spend in the lab. Monday to Friday, 9-7. A few hours on the weekend. Reading at home or checking in to feed parasites, analyze data. I will bring the camera to work one of these days and post some pictures. Will be the same faces you know from our parties only in a different environment. And holding lab stuff instead of beers. But it's still fun. Quite important for what we do. Just imagine that half of what you do fails and you have to find some other way to get the things done. Things done... that pile of "to do" things never gets smaller. Nope, never!
I think that was random enough! Ok, I can throw in some random stuff from the weekend. Went to the gym and could barely walk for 3 days... Surfing felt like paddling with marshmallow muscles. Totally out of shape. No, not too much partying, just too much work and no time to play. Don't get me wrong. This is not about complaining. Just a more realistic post than the party/weekend ones! We like our jobs!
