Happy 4th!

Oh, say can you see... dududududuuuuu!
No, we didn't see much, as there was dense fog over the ocean. Marine layer we call this and it's supposed to happen in May and June. Happy fourth! In honor of the day we spent it with one of our few American friends, Scott from Selina's lab. Since the beach fight last year we have an alcohol ban on all San Diegan beaches. But, Scott lives half a block from the ocean and opened his house to all his friends to drink and enjoy the freedom. This was a perfect occasion to inaugurate my new horseshoe game that I got from Selina for my birthday. This, beers and BBQ made a good 4th of July although the fireworks were a little disappointing. To show some resistance to the American nationalism, we ended the day with Manuela (German) and David (Spanish) and a hookah (Arabian) in a local bar.
