After on or two emails our friend Stephanie from Thun decided to spice up her stay in Kentucky by hopping to the west coast for a couple of days. Steffi arrived Wednesday night from Zürich without any complications or delay. After a night exchanging news and gossip on the porch we did some sightseeing in the neighborhood today. Tomorrow will be beach day and big party from the Scripps postdoc association before we get our apartment and patio ready for our 1. August party on the second.
