Science

The Scripps Postdoc symposium is a day of scientific presentation (oral and posters) where postdocs from all departments show their work. This was a good opportunity to put my results together and have a prototype poster for the La Jolla Immunology Meeting that would follow soon after. It's always good to present data. Putting everything together and reorganizing, rethinking what has been done is very satisfying when you see that you have indeed some nice results and a story that starts shaping up. And getting positive feedback from others reassures you that you are doing the right thing and that it's not as trivial as you thought. This was also the first time that I presented any data from my postdoc so far!
It was a lot easier for Selina who recycled her poster from Wood's Hole.
