Back in San Diego there was work waiting for me... A lot of work to be more precise. Had a poster to prepare for the Scripps Postdoc symposium. And some experiments to do at the same time. Saturday we had an inauguration BBQ for our freshly painted porch. We all had a great time and Chrigu and KW who were back from their road trip got to know some of our friends. We were even a bigger swiss crowd as Esther and her friend joined the party as well before they headed North on their US trip.
Sunday was cleaning, beach and burger day. We went to the theater together to see "The Informant", don't go and watch it. The only good part is that Matt Damon looks funny but you can see this in the trailer. Sushi and more gossip and after 10 days California we dropped them off at the airport on Wednesday to send them back to cold Switzerland.
