Superbowl marks the end of the football season. It's the biggest sports event of a national sports league with more than 100'000 people in the stadium and 111 million people watching it on TV in the US alone plus many millions more around the world. We had a small superbowl party at Sadie and Mike's place, him being a big Steelers fan. Unfortunately, the Steelers lost to the Packers or for less educated readers, Pittsburgh lost to Green Bay. The halftime show featured the Black Eyed Peas who played a medley with songs from their latest album The E.N.D and their other hits. Slash from Guns 'n' Roses joined them on stage, which got us excited for a second. I actually do like the Black Eyed Peas, but I was pretty much the only one and have to admit that the show was terrible. And no, Jay didn't want to slice himself as he doesn't care about the Steelers nor did he hate the music that much and Mike who did could still laugh... That was before they lost!
That's what we do on a normal Sunday and is what all Americans do during the football season. Back to work on Monday and here is an impression of our drive every morning. Note the clouds, real weather!
