Beat is here (and with him Aromat and Toblerone)! This alone and the fact that Michi had planned a boys evening might have rang alarm bells with some people... It was great fun!!! First the usual aperitiv on our porch and after diner we headed to Garnet, the party mile in PB. The crowds are amazing and you have to stand in line for half an hour in some places. We spent the night in a bar with live music, surf videos and small drink glasses. So we just had a lot of drinks but it was not that much... Our new friend Amanda from Utah thought Michi and I were partners !!! and introduced us to her not so attractive girlfriend. Everything closes here around 2, so we had to continue the party on our porch. And luckily I had a bottle of rum (thanks Nico!) and Coke in the fridge. The party continued... until Michi fell asleep on the rocking chair. So we went to bed... and woke up the next morning when Beat tried hard to put his leg around Michi. Did some cleaning and went for breakfest.
Sunday was apparently pretty slow. No headache but somehow everything took a little longer than usual. We made it to the beach and surfed some really nice waves. This with the memory of a worthy evening made it a great weekend! The two hours in the lab could not change that.
