Dear blog addicts. As you might now know everyhting about surfing, dolfins and busy weeks or weekends, I will try to write some more general things about American culture. I am always happy for your feedback and really enjoy reaeding your comments!
Today I'm gonna tell you about the thing that annoys me most in the US: TRAFFIC!
There are a few rules that everyone should follow when driving a car in California:
1. Choose a car that is at least twice the size you need (if that is still too small, you can get an 8-inch lift and increase your pickup to real truck size)
2. Do NOT drive as fast as allowed, but as fast as you can!
3. NEVER use your turn signal indicator. If you do so by mistake, leave it on for the next 5 mins.
4. Don't waste time at home putting makup or styling your hair. Every car has a styling mirror attached to the front window. Ah yes, you can also use it to see the traffic behind you if you have to.
5. Finally consider yourself being the only one on the street. What are all these other cars doing here anyway?
Now to be fair, I have to add that at least some of these rules also apply for Switzerland. I was just fortunate to have a bycicle and a GA instead of a car!
So long!

Hey Sista Shinji you gave me a good laugh ;o) Didn't know that life in California could be that hard !
