Short week

Busy week: Demanding experiments in the lab and a summer student to take care of. In light of this it's almost ok that I've got a cold. Keeps me from surfing. Anyway the waves are not fantastic. Thursday we had my birthday lunch (my boss was away on the actual date) in a beautiful restaurant in La Jolla. It's a lab tradition that the birthday child is invited for lunch in a restaurant of choice by the others. Thanks guys; great working with you!
